Library Launches Free Online Tutoring Platform: Brainfuse

Grove City, OH — October 22, 2025 — Southwest Public Libraries (SPL) is excited to announce the launch of Brainfuse, a new online learning and tutoring platform. This service provides students and lifelong learners of all ages with real-time, one-on-one tutoring and academic support—all free with an SPL library card.

With Brainfuse, patrons can access expert tutors, practice tests, and skill-building resources from home, the library, or on the go. This online platform provides personalized academic help, ensuring the community has equitable access to quality educational support.

“We are really excited that SPL can offer this sought-after service thanks to a large bequest from a long-time benefactor, Laura Harper,” said Denise Southworth, Assistant Director. “Homework help is something our patrons have been requesting, and we know that this will be a big help to students, parents, and adults within our community.”

Key Features of Brainfuse

🎓 Live Online Tutoring Learners can connect with qualified tutors in real time through Brainfuse Online Classroom between 2pm and 12am, 7 days a week. Tutors focus on helping students master core academic concepts rather than just providing answers. Live tutoring is available in both English and Spanish across all subjects.

✍️ Writing Assistance Patrons can receive immediate help with brainstorming, revising, and editing their writing. Through the Writing Lab, users can also submit essays and receive in-depth feedback from an expert tutor within 24 hours.
