Marching Eagles compete in Pickerington

The Grove City Christian School Marching Eagles, under the direction of Karena Collier, performed their show Moondance at the 51st Pickerington Band Festival on Sept. 20 in Panther Stadium.

The show’s music included “Clair de Lune,” “Sing, Sing, Sing,” “Moondance,” “Gravity,” “The Great Gig in the Sky,” and “Fly Me to the Moon.”

The 2025 head field commander is Travis Marks, assisted by Joel Eicher. The performance featured multiple soloists, including Marks (alto saxophone), Eicher (mellophone), Caleb Varker-Emo (clarinet), Cadence Sigler (trombone), Nate Justice (trombone), Katie Hocker (trombone), Gillian Noble (trumpet and flugelhorn), Eli Ratliff (synthesizer), Paige Little (saber), Avery Levesque (dance), and Kaycee Hill.

Additional staff members include Makayla Harr (color guard instructor), Jesse Staten (percussion instructor), Nathan Patterson (percussion instructor), and Melanie Aleshire (music instructor).

On Oct. 4, the Marching Eagles will perform at the Grove City High School Marching Band Competition.
