Comets take on the Falcons

Central Crossing Junior Varsity Soccer team took on Franklin Heights High School.

The Central Crossing Comets led 1-0 at halftime and went on to secure a 2-1 victory at the end of the match.

“When I play, I always think ‘don’t stop ‘till you’re done’,” Freshamn athlete Santiago Alcala said.

The game took place on Sept. 28 and both teams were full of sportsman like conduct.

Central Crossing Freshman Jaywon Lawal played forward during the home match, “The best part about this team is the people here, we have so much fun and joke around all the time.”

Walter Chavez one of the Junior Varsity’s team captains and plays as both midfielder and defender. “It was awesome to win the first four games of our season for the first time in four years,” Chavez said.
